The flipped classroom approach puts the onus of the teaching/learning experience squarely at the feet of the students. They are now responsible for their time and effort in accessing and responding to the content shared.
Teachers/facilitators are responsible for content and the way in which it is delivered along with the classroom experience.
In every aspect, PREPARATION is the key. Students have to read and complete pre-assignments and teachers have to plan the lessons and create the material to be used,
In every aspect of learning, there are the obvious benefits and drawbacks and in this approach, there is no exception.
