At the Ottos Comprehensive School, we appear to be more fortunate than others. Simply put, we have two computer labs, a resource centre and access to the community computer access centre which is on-site. Between the two labs, we have approximately 43 computers (not all of them functional), and a resource centre with approximately 20 computers and a projector that service approximately 900 students.
We offer the subjects - computing basics (introduction to computers), information technology and EDPM (electronic document preparation and management). Therefore, a large portion of students, if not all students in the upper forms, are exposed to ICT in some form.
The human resource, teachers, is adequate where 80% of the teachers who teach these subjects are not only certified teachers but also have degrees and specialized training in this area.
The community centre comprises of 16 computers with internet access. This facility is also available to students of the school.
